BIG TIME
Big Time News brings us this wonderful picture. I think since I first learned to read I've had a subscription to Sports Illustrated. I already had a letter ready to go. If Appalachian State wasn't on the cover I wouldn't hesitate cancelling my subscription. Hats off to Dexter Jackson(on SIs cover & SoCon's 200 meter sprint champion) and CoCo Hillary who MADE PLAYS in the single most unforgettable game in College Football History. Corey Lynch and Pierre Banks were ALL OVER the field making plays and ratcheting their teammates up to a different level. The most solid performance must go to Armanti Edwards and his poise in such a hostile environment. He did what he had to do to win.

Great Piece!!
"Guess we'd better take a brief tutorial on the Appalachian State Mountaineers, since they currently own college football — lock, stock and Big House."

Now Ravens tight end and Mountaineer Daniel Wilcox joins ESPN2 live!
- “Gonna put a new ASU shirt and new jersey in (Michigan alumnus and Ravens teammate) Prescott Burgess’s locker every week.”

What a well crafted paragraph!!!!
"You know, it occurs to me, both Michigan and App. State are no strangers to
big games. Michigan begins each year hunting for a national title, and has
big-time, lights-on-the-marquee games each year with Notre Dame and Ohio State.
App. State's won national titles the past two years. Still, I'm guessing
Michigan fans were a little surprised that the Mountaineers didn't wither under
pressure as the game reached its conclusion. Here's what they didn't account
for: when Michigan takes the field, they know their season is riding on the
opinions of sportswriters and the results generated by a computer. When App.
State takes the field, they know that their season is riding on winning the game
on the field. Food for thought."
